family-run book business and advocates the interlinking of the online and offline business
in the bookselling business.

On the inside, this book world shows its inviting side: An employee at the reception welcomes visitors and provides initial information on the business and product range.

The key element is a large lounge area that spans two floors. Additional lounging options can be found on the window façades with an unobstruct-
ed view of Marienplatz. Drinks from the in-house café are served throughout the entire store. Reading and enjoyment are explicitly demanded at the new Hugendubel flagship store. Its design language combines modern and traditional elements such as a metal wall in the stairwell, extravagant lighting or elaborately designed authentic wooden ceilings. Hand-made chairs, armchairs and sofas provide that comfort factor.
