Hugendubel aims with its future concept to set new standards in book retail and to combine the book product with emotion and experience in the store. Therefore, Schwitzke developed a future-oriented store concept with emotional visual merchandising for the branch on Stachus in Munich. The room shell appears reduced and monochrome, like a blank canvas. All the furnishings are based on the simple principle of the square box, which can be put together and arranged flexibly to present the products, and as room dividers. Instead of books arranged as usual by genre, visitors can expect intuitive theme worlds for the first time. These are staged via graphics, installations or filled acrylic and mesh boxes that provide inspiration and orientation. The new store concept on all floors offers the opportunity to actively experience the range on spacious event areas or in the in-house café. The store becomes the stage, the distributors Hugendubel the host.
