Magic mirrors for smart clothes fitting, historic medicine balls as seats: the future meets history in the new Intersport store concept. This also required the technical building systems to be brought into the digital age.
It was an ambitious project. The complete fit-out and refurbishment of three Intersport stores, each of approx. 1,000 sqm, in nine weeks – all at the same time.
The stores were meant to be pilots for future branches. A digital experience with smart fitting rooms, displays, and touch screens. In a new brand design.
Schwitzke Project took on the challenge. We activated our network to exponentially accelerate the fit-out. Drywallers and floor layers, furniture builders and electricians, fire protection and air-conditioning technicians: in no time, over 120 tradespeople were working under our construction management.
Manpower that gave rise to a concerted interplay of forces: from the renovation of the building technology to the installation of the furniture, Schwitzke Project ensured precise sequencing of the parallel processes in the respective stores.
And not without coordinating closely with the operators and tenants at each location. The Alexa shopping center was impressed.
It’s nice when good work immediately wins over a new client. The new Intersport stores opened right on time. Mission accomplished.
