New men’s wear concept
The Munich-based Ludwig Beck Kaufhaus der Sinne is opening its expanded men’s department on a total of 1,500 square meters in the basement. Schwitzke & Partner adds to the increasingly fashion-oriented purchasing behavior of male clientele with its newly developed concept, creating a place for stylish, upscale men’s wear at the original Munich store.
The store concept responds to the male target audience with a differentiated design language and divides the retail space into business, trend, sportswear and underwear – all with an elegant and natural look and feel. Bright oakwood, natural stones, classic furniture with color accents and numerous stylistic details characterize the new appearance of the men’s department. Elaborately made ceiling panels, lamellar partition walls, marble-coated passages and repeated refinements in furniture and wall details all make for eye-catchers. One central creative element is a concrete tunnel that connects the newly developed, higher floors with the existing space – using wall elements that spread like large scales. The emotional experience will make customers stay longer.
