Optiker Bode is one of the largest opticians in Hamburg, Germany. Proudly run by the third generation of the Bode family, it has around 80 branches and stands for quality, service, and Hanseatic charm.

Task

The Bodes came to us to revitalize their brand design with a modern ‘look’ and increased focus on their carefully selected designer products. Together with our colleagues Schwitzke & Partner GmbH, we have developed a store concept for the new flagship store on Jungfernstieg, which underlines the brand competence and the service promise of optician Bode and is considered a pioneer for the Bode lifestyle.

Solution

A jewel on the Jungfernstieg: Modern colors such as Bode yellow, white, gold, blue and black, a golden sales counter as a place of communication and oak panel parquet ensure a noble look that underlines the Hanseatic restraint of the flagship store in the heart of Hamburg. The optician’s new corporate identity, in which the letter O appears as an embracing, open symbol, is reflected in the interior design. It was awarded Store of the year 2022!
