How will retail have to change in the future? With this question in mind, the EXPO REAL trade fair approached us as brand experts to create a joint space with a clear attitude.

Task

In response, we developed the exhibition "The Great Green Leap", which was consistently dedicated to the topic of sustainability as the most important driver of the future. Under the motto "Rethink Retail", the meeting point highlighted sustainable solutions for the retail and real estate industry and offered a calming oasis in the trade fair. For three days, an interactive platform was created on 200 square meters, full of plants and inspiring meeting points.

Solution

The aim was to create a place where visitors and guests can network, exchange experiences and discuss visions for a sustainable future. A plan that worked out perfectly: In interviews and discussion rounds, experts such as the bicycle manufacturer Schindelhauer or the parcel and logistics company UPS, the Munich unpacked shop OHNE or the organic lemonade producer Lemonaid gave insights into their path to more sustainability and social responsibility. Thanks to reusable stand elements such as rented scaffolding, Euro pallets and information screens, "Green Leap" produced around 90 percent less waste than traditional trade fair construction.
