Hugendubel's intention was to set new standards for book retailing and to combine the book with emotion and experience. For this purpose, we developed a trend-setting store concept with emotional visual merchandising for the branch at Munich's Stachus.
The store's shell is completely reduced and monochrome, like a playable white canvas. The entire furnishing is based on the principle of a square box that can be flexibly assembled and used as a product and seating furniture or room divider.
Instead of genre departments, visitors can expect intuitive theme worlds for the first time. These are staged via graphics, installations or filled acrylic and grid boxes, which provide inspiration and orientation. On all floors, the new store concept offers the opportunity to actively experience the assortment on spacious event areas or in the in-house café. The store thus becomes a stage, and the retailer Hugendubel a host.
