Design concept "Retail meets coffee bar"

The LFDY flagship store in the listed building in Berlin is the brand's largest to date. Our expressive design concept combines Art Nouveau architecture with streetwear coolness.

When designing the space of the 230 m² store, we not only created an impressive sales area, but also integrated an in-house community place with the first LFDY café. Here, customers can enjoy various drinks and purchase a specially designed 'LFDY Coffee Collection' with reusable cups, T-shirts, caps and coffee beans.

Our store design for the Berlin shop is characterised by urban modernity. The architecture plays with the clash of modernity and history, which is reflected in the five-metre-high stucco ceilings and the stainless steel-encased checkout counter. The customer journey leads up an imposing staircase to the sales area and on into the former cinema hall with its listed wooden floor and panelled walls. This is where the largest LFDY cabinet system finds its place, surrounded by a technically cool contrast of stainless steel presentation elements. The design concept breaks with convention, plays with contrasts and features hexagonal tiles, a dark green border with the words "with us or against us" and a diverse selection of designer furniture and artworks. Live Fast Die Young combines the retail, design and café areas into a harmonious triad for the first time in its new flagship store.
