Integrated green spaces in table and wall seating areas underscore the natural freshness of Vapiano food
Vapiano, the international system-catering company, relies on Schwitzke Project for the conversion and fit-out of its restaurants.
Im Kölner Zollhafen and on Düsseldorf’s Königsallee boulevard, affectionately called “Kö” for short, we were responsible for a full fit-out, from the top edge of the floor screed to the ceiling.
The timing, as always, was tight. Accordingly, we worked closely with the building authority in Cologne to help speed up the process of obtaining a building permit. This enabled us to launch the project on time together with our 62 partner companies: In addition to the usual fit-out work, this included everything from the sprinkler and fire alarm systems to the ventilation, the front cooking kitchen with a multicompressor refrigeration system, and all fittings and furnishings. To stay on our tight schedule, we personally traveled to Italy to pick up the tiles. And, as usual, we completed the project right on time! A result that fully suits our client’s taste.
