“The Weaving Wall” – Making sustainability tangible

With “The Weaving Wall,” we at Schwitzke ID, an experienced brand agency for spatial design, have developed an interactive point-of-sale tool for OEKO-TEX®. Presented in Peek & Cloppenburg’s Conscious Store in Berlin, the project demonstrates how sustainability, transparency, and safety in textile production become tangible through design and interaction. Our goal as designers: not only to make a brand visible, but also to create an emotionally tangible identity.

Idea & development

Transparency shouldn’t remain abstract—it must be experienced. Based on this conviction, we designed a mobile, modular POS tool together with our team at Schwitzke & Partner.
The “Weaving Wall” combines spatial design, storytelling, and interaction. Visitors can pick up keychains made from certified yarn, trace the supply chain using a QR code, or immerse themselves in the world of themes on a podcast wall. Roll-ups illustrate the certification steps and make complex processes understandable. This approach demonstrates our experience in developing brand experiences that combine information and emotion.

A brand experience for retail, trade fairs & events

“The Weaving Wall” is more than a tool—it’s a brand experience that translates the values ​​of OEKO-TEX® into the space. The MADE IN GREEN label is not only explained but actively integrated into everyday situations.
This successfully raises consumer awareness of sustainability in textile production. Whether in retail, at trade fairs, or at events: the installation translates an abstract message into a compact, interactive experience that builds trust in the brand.

Schwitzke Identity

As a brand agency, we see ourselves not just as designers, but as partners for brands that want to make their identity visible in spaces and experiences. Our designers develop concepts that combine spatial design, interaction, and storytelling. With projects like “The Weaving Wall,” we demonstrate how a close partnership with brands leads to innovative formats.

Our target: Translating brand values ​​and sustainability into the space, developing well-thought-out formats and taking consumers on an emotional journey through the brand.
