ICON by Covivio - Redesign of Düsseldorf's architectural icon

With a total rental area of ​​approximately 55,700 m², the ICON by Covivio office building sets new standards in Düsseldorf’s architecture. The dynamically curved façade design, offset terraces, and two imposing towers give the building a distinctive identity. Rounded aluminum parapets underscore the flowing design language and create a modern landmark in the Düsseldorf-Friedrichstadt district.

Our office is responsible for the comprehensive modernization of the public areas – from the lobby and foyer to the inner courtyard and roof terrace. The aim is to create inspiring and functional spaces that combine both quality of stay and ecological responsibility:

• Green outdoor areas with urban furniture and an art installation
• Urban Gardening on terracesenables new usage scenarios
• High-quality, environmentally friendly materials characterize the interiors

Branding und signage: Oursophisticated branding and signage concept integrates seamlessly into the architectural design. Clear structures ensure intuitive navigation and a consistent appearance that reflects the ICON by Covivio brand identity.

The newly designed forecourt – an urban oasis

A central element of the modernization is the transformation of the forecourt into an inviting meeting space. Through a successful combination of greenery, street furniture, and intelligent lighting, this space is transformed from a mere transit area into a vibrant place to stay. A harmonious interplay of architecture, nature, and urban life is created here – a place where residents, visitors, and professionals alike can linger and interact.
