Once again, the department store relies on the architectural team of Schwitzke & Partner, which has reinterpreted the Manufactum philosophy as a unique design concept.
In total, the new department store comprises 345 m² of sales area and marks the sixth store that Schwitzke & Partner has implemented for Manufactum. All department store concepts are linked by a clear design line – whether in Bremen, Vienna, Hanover or Hamburg: “For Manufactum, we rely on a modular approach that is perfectly suited to the small-scale presentation of goods. This jointly developed concept was also applied to the new space in Hamburg,” explains Tina Jokisch, Managing Director at Schwitzke & Partner. “However, since no two stores are alike, the new Hamburg location in the Alstertal shopping center also has numerous design features and an individual material plan that gives it a distinctive character.”
