The German Retail Association (HDE) has honored, among others, Optiker Bode on Jungfernstieg in Hamburg as Store of the Year 2022. The awards were presented on the evening of May 03, as part of the German Retail Real Estate Congress in Berlin.
The Bode optician on Jungfernstieg in Hamburg won the Out of Line category. The store, located in a listed building, combines craftsmanship with modern shopfitting. The jury was impressed by the openly designed workshop, which provides an insight into the craft. Digital innovations such as the virtual fitting of glasses round off the range of advice on offer.
