With the motto “Democratic Food – Simply good food for everyone” the gastronomic concept sander comprises various culinary moments to offer each and every guest a special taste experience morning, noon and night: from a deli with take-out to a restaurant with an open industrial kitchen for lunch and dinner, as well as a caf. and bar. The focus is on modern interpretations of German classics that are prepared with products made in-house. For the concept, Schwitzke developed the key design themes of “industrial”, “forest & meadow” and “tradition & modernity”, and translated these into a contemporary, urban gastronomy design. Freshness and quality come first at sander, and this should be reflected in the interior design and the materials used like oak wood, marble and velvet. The heart of the restaurant is the open kitchen, which lets customers see their meals being prepared and creates an experience for all the senses.
